Commercial Designer

Responsibilities

Kay Green Design seeks an Interior Designer to provide exceptional service for our commercial clients by designing spaces such as clubhouses, sales centers, design studios and amenity centers.

Our Designers, working with an Assistant, are responsible for entire projects from laying out ideal floorplans, generating a presentation, designing architectural details, providing specifications, selecting finishes, choosing  furnishings and designing window treatments all the way through to the final installation.

We are accepting resumes for Assistant Commercial Designers as well.

Requirements

  • Degree in Interior Design
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in commercial interior design
  • AutoCAD proficiency required
  • SketchUp or other 3D modeling software experience preferred
  • Ability to travel up to 25%

Assistant Interior Designer

Responsibilities

Kay Green Design seeks an Assistant Interior Designer to support our team of designers and provide exceptional service to our diverse base of clients in the model home merchandising, commercial and residential design fields.

Assistant Designers are teamed up with Senior Designers and are responsible for duties which include:

  • Creating CAD drawings
  • Creating SketchUp renderings
  • Ordering fabric samples
  • Preparing presentation boards
  • Working on-site at installations
  • Researching product pricing and availability
  • Many other duties as assigned by the Design Director
