Kay Green had a big presence at the Southeast Building Conference this year - Kay Green presented in the education program line-up, Ashley Jennings presented the Aurora Awards as the 2008 Chair and the firm even hosted a large trade show booth on the exhibit floor.

On Thursday morning, July 31st , at her seminar, "Bright Ideas to Build On," with Dominick Tringali of Dominick Tringali Architects, Kay presented the latest design trends that her firm uses in model homes, sales centers and clubhouses. The model home photography that Kay presented in her seminar says it all - the firm's unique design ideas create award-winning model homes that draw traffic to the community and drive a buying decision.

This year's Aurora Awards chair, Ashley Jennings, Marketing Coordinator at Kay Green Design, was an elegant hostess at Saturday evening's Aurora Awards gala. The drumsticks and tambourines were sponsored by Kay Green Design, a Silver sponsor. The evening started with a sentimental moment, when a picture from the 1985 Aurora Awards was shown, with Kay Green as Chair and Ashley Jennings and her twin brother (4 years old) congratulated their mom on stage with their father, local builder, Rick Jennings. The audience's enthusiasm was unmatched as the attendees each congratulated the Aurora winners by applauding with pairs of wooden drumsticks, kazoos, maracas and little tambourines.

Did you notice a new exhibitor on the trade show floor? Kay Green Design hosted their first booth at the Southeast Building Conference this year. The booth's brushed metal and wood finishes demonstrated competitive design talent while the colorful graphic panels showcased the firm's portfolio of award-winning work. Kay Green Design made a big impact at this year's Southeast Building Conference (SEBC) and was recognized for their significant contributions to the conference this year.
